This past May bank holiday weekend saw the return of the AfroHair & Beauty show in the Business Design Centre in Angel London. Every year this is one of the main places to be and it didn’t disappoint this year. It was definitely bigger and with a large selection of brands both in the main commercial retails bit but also in the independent african shops situated on the lower ground. There was definitely something for everyone from the serious about haircare and skincare with a lot better of people doing their annual hair care buying for the year. (We did ours) They were the one with the small suitcases as they have done this before, thinking about the weight of so many products at better value than you see in the everyday hairshops to the creative talents of the african shops that was array of colours and materials from traditional African garments to the modern twist, art work and accessories to even books and toys. Spending a few hours could be easily done and when done properly, there was a few gems.
We have been going to this show for over 3 years now and it is definitely an event that is automatically set in our diaries, we cannot wait for next year, as we think that it might be time for us to have a stall and show case what we have ......
watch this space as you never know
